![]() The Degerberg Academy's founder and owner, Fred Degerberg is a mainstay in the world of martial arts whose travels have taken him around the world and back. President of Degerberg Academy of Martial Arts & Fitness, Inc. Owns and operates one of the largest (13,000 square feet), most versatile, best equipped Martial Arts schools in the world, rated #1 in the U.S. for five years. He has been an advisor to corporate, movie, TV, photo, police, and security groups. Mr. Degerberg has choreographed many scenes for authenticity. He is of Italian and Swedish heritage, born in Chicago, raised in an Italian household.
Fred grew up in the same house with his dad, Fred Sr., and Rocky, so he was – from day one – either boxing with Grandpa or wrestling with Dad.
